Our continued search for great beer in Belgium rewarded us with another brew to love, Lambic! Lambics are typically a sour beer similar to the gose beers becoming popular back in the US. Aside from drinking in Brussels we also saw the sights, loads of cars at Autoworld, and had memorable experiences at our Airbnb and the city pool.

Bruges, Belgium. Often referred to as the "Venice of the North" it is the most popular city to visit in Belgium after Brussels. And it's easy to understand why after hearing about how well the historic city is preserved. Bryan and I were surprised by how we felt about Bruges, and especially how it changed our future travel plans.

We arrived in Ghent, Belgium unsure what to expect, but we knew one thing for sure: Lauren wanted to find a place to listen to some live music and dance her butt off. We soon found out how easy that would be to find because we had arrived in Ghent just in time for the beginning of a free music festival that takes over the city for 10 days—Gente Feesen.
