The city of Edinburgh is full of history and fascinating architecture. We were told the city was full of charm, and we were not let down. We took a Harry Potter tour to see the sites that inspired JK Rowling to write her books, toured the Edinburgh castle, walked around the beautiful parks, and of course did our fair share of eating and coffee shop exploring. 

After hiking 96 miles in the awesome West Highland Mountains, we hopped in a rental car and drove to the Isle of Skye. We were not expecting better landscapes than the mountains we had just hiked, but we were surprised by the unique natural beauty the Isle of Skye offers. We packed a lot into our 3 days there, from castles to lighthouses, to beaches and hiking to cool rock formations, waterfalls, towering cliffs, and even a land where fairies could exist!
