Making Chocolate in Puerto Viejo

Have you always thought European chocolate was the best and highest quality? I’m not going to lie—I did. Until we toured the Caribeans Cacao Farm, I thought it was the chocolatiers in Switzerland or Belgium that were responsible for top-notch quality chocolate. We learned—and tasted—a lot about chocolate from growing the beans to forming the bars, we saw the entire process at one of the few places that produces chocolate from bean to bar all in the same location.
